About The Event
Dear guests, performers, volunteers, and sponsors: In view of the recent suspected case of coronavirus in Lawrence, there has been growing concern among the local Chinese community and the general public about the health and safety of public gatherings at the present time. With these health concerns in mind, the KCCA 2020 New Year Gala Organization Committee has decided, after careful consideration, that the Lunar New Year Gala originally scheduled for February 1 will be postponed. We will actively communicate with the event venues in the hope that after the threat of this virus has passed, we will host this much sought-after annual performance and cultural exhibition on a suitable date. At this time we don’t yet know when it will be rescheduled, but we will make a public announcement once we are able to set a new date. We sincerely hope those who support us will come to participate…
