The Lunar New Year Festival is a tradition of the community to welcome a Lunar new year.  This year our celebration, themed “Journey” includes the following three sections:

1. Chinese culture showcases (3:00pm - 6:00pm)

This Chinese traditional culture display, food and entertainment activities include lion dance, calligraphy, tea art, Tai Chi, Go/Chess, Chinese medicine, as well as face paintings, family photos, and other games for children, etc.

2. VIP & Pre-show Reception (4:45pm - 6:15pm)

This is a special invite to the leaders of the Consulate General, state (city) government state (city) chiefs, members of parliament, sponsors, partners, and some volunteers in the celebration of the New Year.

3. Literary live stage performances (6:30 - 8:30)

This exciting theatrical show includes Chinese traditional folk dance, folk song singing, classical musical instrument performance, etc.
