It's time to celebrate Chinese cultural and tradition at the KCCA Lunar New Year Festival themed with "Descendants of the Dragon"! As descendants of the dragon, overseas Chinese will usher in the Year of the Dragon in February 2024. KCCA will lead the community, performance groups, and the Chinese and Asian descendants in KC to present a grand and warm celebration. Not only will there be wonderful stage performances, but also a rich variety of cultural activities, games, and ethnic food! This year our celebration, themed “Descendants of the Dragon” includes the following three events:

3:00pm – 6:00pm

MTC Lobby

The lobby activities include Dragon dance, Lion dance, Tea ceremony, Traditional Chinese painting, Spring festival couplets, Tai Chi, Chinese paper cutting, Face painting, Traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese fashion show, Chinese Go and Chess, Family photo booths, Family games, etc.
